(if you want to see all the features and how many cards and cash it can hold, please watch the video)
Today’s review will be on my long-term carry experience with the Aurochs Gravity wallet.
There are no features on the exterior of this wallet. On the interior, there are two card slots on the left side, as well as a pull tab section for cards that are used less often. On the right hand side there are also two card slots. Behind one of the card slots, there is an area to put a SIM card, as well as a tool slot for the pin push you would use to remove the SIM card. Behind both sets of card slots on the right and left hand side are areas for cash if you fold it over once for US currency. A benefit of this wallet is that it will fit all foreign currencies, which is a nice complement to the overall features.
As with all Aurochs wallets, they always feel sturdy and strong. However, this comes at the expense of its profile and width. Because the leather is cut thicker, it is quite a bit larger than a lot of its competitors.
This is made in Pakistan using responsibly sourced full grain leather from Southeast Asia. There are reinforced edges and additional sewing which helps prevent it from tearing apart over time. It is a well-made wallet and should last a long time.
One of the disadvantages of this wallet is that it is not as slim as you would expect from a traditional bi-fold wallet.
It measures 4.3 x 3.2 x .4”. Since it is made from so much leather, it creates bulk, especially when you add coins, cash and cards. If you prefer a slimmer wallet with a smaller footprint, this might not be the wallet for you. However, if that doesn’t matter to you, then this is a fine wallet.
Aurochs Gravity is a product of our obsession with functional designs that make carrying easy, comfortable and fun.
