Made in Span, the Cocuan Coin Card wallet is a unique pouch wallet with a generous coin pouch which can also carry cards. But cash is left out in the cold.

As an Etsy seller, Luis, who is the owner of the shop, has created a wonderful leather crafting business with unique offerings and the Cocuan Coin and Card wallet is one of them.
We have multiple pieces of leather that are involved, but it is an accordion wrap. Another thing to notice is there are no stitches. There’s no sewing involved at all just rivets and snaps. It has a nice semi rough flesh side. When opened, it’s reminiscent of the little plastic coin pouches that you would squeeze to open.
We see no features on the exterior, when we get to the interior, we immediately see a coin pouch. The coin pouch has a capacity of eight plus coins, depending on the size of the coins used, providing immediate access. Behind the coin pouch is where the card slot is available. The card slot is small, but has a capacity of six to eight cards. And from a cash perspective, you can get it in there, but you’re going to have to fold it twice and tucking it in. This really is a coin and card wallet first.
The company recommends up to six cards, with no recommendations on cash, but with the need to fold it twice. An item to note is that the more cards you have, the less coins will fit and vice versa. It’s just how that works.
From a quality perspective, this is made in Spain, Barcelona in particular. It’s a full grain veg tanned leather, tanned in Igualada near Barcelona. Light burnishing and is made from two pieces of leather, which is unique in the way it’s folded together. And it’s incorporated as part of the design. The split on the leather is perfect. Again, not too thick, not too flimsy. I really like what Luis has done with this one.
I like how the overlap style of this wallet provides access to the coins first then cards. Measurements are 4 x 2.5 x 0.8” and it weighs 57 grams. Now onto the final score. For quality a 4, price a 3, features a 3, usability a 4. It’s a high score, but this wallet is compact and no brainer and how to use it and access cards and coins and perception a 3. That gives us a final score of 3.6 out of 5.
