The Harrisson Australia wallet (that’s with two “r” and two “s”) is a bifold with a money clip made from kangaroo leather. Due to the kangaroo leather it’s a unique, thin, minimalist and excellent front pocket wallet.

We’ve reviewed a number of wallets from Australia, and Harrison Australia is another nicely made one to review.
The wallet comes in brown and black and the leather is incredibly thin, which is due to the Kangaroo leather used. On the exterior we don’t have any appreciable features except beautiful leather. On the interior, we have two card slots, one on each side and in the middle we have a cash clip, with amazing tension. Capacity is five notes with two to six cards between both slots. It measures 4.5 x 2.9 x 0.2” and weighs 42 grams. That’s 1.45 ounces.
In the card and cash insertion test I was able to place six cards, three on each side and with cash, the Euro and Yen did not fit as they are too tall. The company makes no recommendations, but 12 cards could work with six on each side. It would stretch out the leather, but it would work. Both front and rear pocket carry works with this wallet.
My perception is it’s a very thin wallet, which is due to the Kangaroo leather used. Kangaroo isn’t cut thin for the sake of a thin cut, it’s incredibly strong and durable which makes Kangaroo leather an amazing leather for small leather applications and products.
Harrisson Australia produces belts and other accessories and they’re all made from premium kangaroo and cow hide. It has a five year warranty and is priced for $74. I think it’s reasonably priced due to the type of leather and it’s coming from Australia.
Now, onto the final score. For quality, a 4, price, a 3, but shipping adds another $20, which makes it a little bit expensive, but we’ll overlook that. Features, a 3, usability, a 4 and perception, a 4. That gives us a score of 37 out of 50.
