Kinzd Crazy Horse wallet misses capacity expectations, but value for money hits the mark!

At first glance, the Kinzd Crazy Horse leather slim wallet appears it could handle a lot of cash and cards, but unfortunately, it misses that mark. However, due to its many slots, it does organize what you can get in there well. Due to it being made of more RFID material than leather, the ability to break in and stretch is also limited. But at only $15, you can’t argue that it has good value, and the color options are amazing.

As you can see, I placed 10 cards in there, which is way too many. There are many pockets, which gives the impression it can hold a lot, but it can’t hold many cards in each slot. If this was full leather, I would expect it could stretch and comfortably accommodate the numbers I was putting in.  But if you look closely, there’s almost more RFID material than leather, so it won’t stretch much over time.

Five slips of cash fit easy in the inner pocket.

The company doesn’t recommend any number of cards or cash, so that’s up to you. But as you can tell, it was difficult to overload it with cards, even though it looks like it can handle more. The leather is Crazy Horse leather, which is not from a horse, but is popular for horse saddles, which is the generally accepted reason how it got that name. As you can imagine saddle leather must be durable and is what’s expected from products who use this kind of leather.

The leather is full grain, which indicates it should wear well and is made in China.  For that cost, that’s perfectly acceptable and hopefully we all understand that China made products can be high quality if the product owner wants it to be. With that price, of course, you shouldn’t expect this wallet to last a super long time, that should be an automatic expectation based on price. There are reports that the seams begin to fall apart, which would happen with RFID material mixed in, instead of an all leather construction. But others do report that it holds up really well.

It’s easy to use with its many pockets, which provide an organizational method, but not really capacity. The card measures 4.25” x 3.1” x .25” thin. This is a company that makes many makes and models of wallets in a very affordable way, so despite the low cost, don’t be fooled into thinking it’s super low quality.

Let’s wrap this up with the final ratings. For quality3, price a 5, features a 3, usability a 3, and perception a 3. That gives us a final score 3.4 out of 5. Take a look at these videos. If you have wallets you want us to review let us know we’re happy to do it.
