(if you want to see all the features and how many cards and cash it can hold, please watch the video)
Today we are going to review the NapaWalli slim wallet. I bought this from Amazon. It comes in a Ziploc bag, which is fine. They call this the blue vintage which is genuine leather from what I understand. It has quite a few pockets and is a typical factory style manufacturer.
Now for the feature review the NapaWalli slim wallet. With this wallet there are three card slots in the front with the first one having a quick access thumb push. Right next to it, underneath is another card slot, and if we look at the interior, again, there is one more card slotor cash. It looks like having cash, folded over once, seems to fit in the third slot. When we flip the wallet over, there is an ID slot with a quick access thumb push and one more card slot behind it. When we take everything into consideration, there are eight potential places to put cards, as well as some deeper slots for cash, which makes this a great capacity wallet.
Now for the card and cash insertion test. I was able to get 10 cards in the NapaWalli. With cash in this, it is evident that US and Canadian cash works just fine in this. If we try to put euro or yen in here, because of the height of the currency, it does stick out. As mentioned before, we know there are wallets where currency is made to stick out. If that is acceptable to you, then I think this wallet is fine and would work well. But if it doesn’t, then just know that foreign currency, euro and yen doesn’t seem to work really well with this particular wallet. So again, I have got five or 10 cards and five slips of US currency in here. This is made in China and is a decent build considering the price. This is actually a very common design for the inexpensive wallets that you will find on Amazon. This one is really good for the price. I am actually doing a carry test right now on the Buffway, which is the exact same design as the one we have here. It is made from genuine leather, which is the lowest quality leather, but that is what you would expect for the price. It also has a lot of RFID in it which affects the amount of leather that is actually in this wallet. This is a little wider than a typical slim wallet, but it is usable and the leather is pliable. Getting cards in and out of it is really pretty easy to do. It measures 4.4 x 3.2 x 0.2”. The perception around this is that these NapaWalli wallets only sell on Amazon. Really, there’s no understanding of the support you would get if anything went wrong. Don’t expect this wallet to hold up for years. It’s not meant to. It’s a great slim wallet for limited or short term usage.
The colors and material selection are absolutely amazing. There are about 25 or 30 different options available. This really makes up for anything else that may be a shortcoming on this wallet.
As for the final score; for quality a 2, price a 5, features a 4, usability a 4, and perception a 2. That gives us a final score of 3.3 out of 5. Thanks for watching. This is a great little wallet with all kinds of options. If this is what you want for something cheap, get it for your kids. It’s always something fun.
This wallet has been discontinued. Below is a close replacement.
Travelambo and Buffway are great replacements for Toughgunner and Napawalli wallets which have been discontinued.
