The number of features in the Schnail ATLAS wallet review for its slim size is mind blowing. Cash, lots of cards, coins, keys, and SD cards all in a super small, cheap, minimalist, leather wallet.
(if you want to see all the features and how many cards and cash it can hold, please watch the video)
This is the Schnail ATLAS wallet and it’s very small. It also has a lot of features going on in such a small package. It’s a mass produced wallet, not hand crafted like many wallets we review. The color being reviewed is brown, but it also comes in black. On the exterior, we have a card slot, which is actually meant to hold cash. With a capacity of one to three notes, you fold cash in either thirds or fourths and insert it into the slot and behind the elastic strap which keeps it secure. It also has a lanyard loop to keep your lanyard or keys attached to the wallet. If you’re in a larger metropolitan area, having a tether or lanyard for your wallet can help prevent pickpocketing.
When we move to the interior, we have one open sided slot. This is where all cards go. They’re extracted using an integrated pull strap. The sides are open, but the elastic that holds the cash on the front of the wallet wraps around which prevents cards from falling out This is also what provides enormous card capacity. I’ve read that people can get 20 cards in this wallet Finally, there’s a hidden pocket you access from the top down. It’s kept closed by Velcro. This little pocket is a miscellaneous goods such as coins, keys, SD cards, whatever you’d like.
The Schnail wallet is only sold on Amazon by a mom and pop accessory company. It’s a clever design and it measures 3.5 x 2.1 x 0.3”. And it weighs 18 grams, fairly light. The company recommends up to 12 cards. It’s designed in the United States and made in China. It’s a full grain leather and does have RFID blocking lining in it.
The footprint of the wallet is so good. It fits in the pocket, both front and rear without a problem, for both males and females. Now onto the final score. For quality, a 3. Price, a 3. Features, a 5. All the features for such a small footprint is incredible. Usability, a 4. Easy to operate, no awkward manipulation points in this wallet. It’s all very simple, and perception, a 3. That gives a good score, a 3.5 out of 5.
