The Finn Access Wallet by Waterfield Designs out of San Francisco is what we’re reviewing.

The wallet comes packaged in a simple plastic bag. The bag contains the wallet, and a Waterfield brochure, which shows the other products they sell in addition to the wallets, including a lot of backpacks, briefcases and so forth. This particular wallet is the Finn Access. They also have a Finn version. The access part is because of the quick access card slot on the outside. This has nice sewing with a single piece of leather folded and sewn.

The Waterfield Finn Access Wallet has one feature on the exterior which is a quick access card slot. On the one side of the interior there is a card slot. There is also another card slot on the opposite side. There is also a general pocket area in the middle, which is really perfect for anything including cards, cash, keys, coins and SIM cards etc., since the wrap around zipper will keep everything securely inside.

This wallet comes in three sizes from. There is the compact, the international, and cell phone case. This is the international size, because it fits foreign currencies folded over once.

I was able to get eight cards and ten slips of cash inside. You can also get coins in there. It allows for larger things to be held in the bottom, while still keeping the wallet pretty thin. It fits all foreign currencies. I would say a minimal carry would be about six cards. The company indicates it can hold up to twenty cards, a wad of cash, plus you can put keys and coins.

The outside slot is not RFID. One of the best things they offer in this wallet is both non and RFID versions. This is made of a full grain oil tanned leather, so the longevity won’t be a problem and it is very soft and easy to the touch. The interior is made from a taslan nylon made from very fine filament and is also water resistant.

This is very easy to use and with this international model being a little larger than the compact, it’s 0.39” or 9mm taller than the compact version. It is still fairly small and can carry foreign currencies folded over once. It measures 4.25 x 3.38 x 0.75” and weighs 36 grams. Waterfield Designs are also known as San Francisco Bags.
